Overview
Water detector with 4 independent detection zones. Any or all together will detect the presence of water when connected to water detector sensor and the water detector controller. The water detectors sensors can be fixed directly onto a floor or mounted on a wall, the two wires are directly connected to the appropriate channel on the detector controller.

Features
When the presence of water is detected,
1. Internal detector controller buzzer will sound.
2. The appropriate zone on the detector will flash showing which zone has been detected.
3. When used with 999-494 the Amber Indicator Light will flash until either reset or water is no longer present.
3. The external relay when linked to 101-867 will provide remote alerting of water detection.
4. If 101-876 is connected the flashing amber beacon will be activated and internal buzzer will sound alarm. If additional louder sound is required connection to an external 12volt sounder is available on the module.

Applications
Use in detection of water leaks & spills in many situations like
Water in basements, over flowing tanks, plant rooms, baths, any location where water ingress could cause damage without being detected, boats, canal boats. Drains overflowing, sumps where water rises to danger levels if pumps fail. Product can be used with other modules to start pumps via relay modules, linked to warning light beacon, to provide visual alerting. Placed in expansion tanks to detect if overflow pipes become blocked, or condensation trays becoming over full and in danger of overflowing.

Additional products can be connected to provide additional funactionality.  Two channel mains rated relay module can be used to operate pumps or additional warning devices, ie sounders, or  warning lights to alert building occupants of and issue which may be out of regular sight.  Some examples are shown below of how this modules can be connected to gether to provide flexible deployment  to achieve different customer needs.

In stand alone powered from 12 volts it will sound internally when water detected on any of the 4 zones.

Stand alone with addition of external alerting beacon and sound alert which can be sited away from the leak detector with 4 wire connection between the two units.

How to use the product –  Example 3
Water leak detector  connected to two channel relay module which can be used to activate other device ie soundes, beacons, or pumps. Powered by Ac Power supply unit with fail over to 12v battery supply should mains fail (battery not included)
